Overview

Maite Amaya was a trans, feminist, piquetera and anarchist militant. She began her militant trajectory as a high school student; then for the rights of sex workers, in the struggles of the LGBTTTIQ+ community, and for the dignified life of all marginalized people. She died in 2017 at the age of 36, the maximum life expectancy of trans and transvestite people. This short film reconstructs her lide as part of a living memory. From voices of companions and friends, intertwined with archival material of her own voice, an irreverent and satirical record is constructed.
