In 2022, Paragraph 219a, which prohibited advertising for the termination of pregnancy, was finally deleted without replacement. Paragraph 218, which makes abortions a punishable offence in Germany, has now been in the penal code for 150 years. In the documentary, 50 people who have had an abortion have their say.
